Master’s course in "Sustainable Tourism Management"
This course is internationally acknowledged and officially accredited and forms a link between economic and environmental sciences.The course is taught in a series of modules. This system of modules guarantees the integrity and interconnectedness of the course content. The system also provides international flexibility and ensures good cooperation between the two areas of study (economic and environmental sciences).The modules will be taught either in German or English, and each module covers a period of two or four weeks.
The master’s programme educates future tourism managers interested in innovations and long term perspectives. After completing the course they will have acquired the skills necessary to work for tourism industry associations, local and regional tourism organisations, innovative tourism enterprises, protected area authorities, regional planning departments, non-government organisations, international development cooperation, as well as in tourism consulting and in further education.
