Genetic monitoring of amphibians: development of dynamic conservation concepts based on population structure in time and space
The most important factors of the amphibian population declines worldwide are habitat destruction and climate change. With molecular markersystems it is possible to analyze the population structure of selected amphibians and develop strategies for their preservation.
