Establishment and expansion of innovative R&D networks with partners in countries bordering the Baltic Sea - Formation of a network for efficient and sustainable wood processing based on combined moulding and wood modification processes​​


We are engaged with the transformation and modification of wood. Our goal is to develop high-tech and energy-efficient processes, which enable the production of highly sustainable products made of wood. This is an issue with considerable potential for innovation.

Our research projects directly relate to, and further develop, application-oriented questions generated by industry and enterprises. We are always looking for new partners from industry and research in the Baltic Sea Region.


Partner:

The Initiator of this Wood Modification Network is the Professorship of “Chemistry and Physics of Wood” of the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development in Germany, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Pfriem
