Future Lab - Career Orientation Project

About this Project

Future Lab is a joined career orientation project of the Handwerkskammer Frankfurt Oder, the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development and the Angermünder Bildungswerk e.V. (project owner).

Aim of the project is to attract, interesst and win young people for a sustainable, green career or study choice.

During the 4-day workcamp particpants should get the opportunity to experience and try different career objectives by using an infomel way of learning and teaching.

Special focus during the execution of this project is put on ecological, sustainable work and the equality and respect for diverse people. This main principles are also shown in the design and execution of the afternoon programm. At the end, every single participant gets advices about acting socialy and ecologicaly responsible in his or her every day life.

After the workcamp the participants receive further counselling and support, e. g. for finding an internship, sommer job or in the application process.

project duration: 01.10.2015 till 30.09.2018

target group: young people between ages 13 and 24.

place: Workcamps take place in three different locations in Brandenburg, open for participants living in Brandenburg, Saxony and Mecklenburg-West Pomerania.

im Beruf — BBNE” by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) and the European Social Fund.
