Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO UN) 

Community Development Specialist 

Project: Towards Fisheries and Aquaculture Development in the Kyrgyz Republic


- assist in the implementation of project activities at the regional level and in accordance with the approved work plan;
- organize, prepare for, and attend tri-monthly Management Board Meetings with the Fisheries Associations, representatives of local government authorities, and the Department of Pastures, Livestock and Fisheries.
- assist the Aquaculture Association members to develop their six-monthly activity schedules, and monitor their implementation;
- lead the "on-the-ground" implementation and monitoring of the project's Gender Plan;
- conduct regular meetings with the Aquaculture Associations/project beneficiaries and the local government authorities;


Consultant on Climate Change at FAO UN

Project: Towards Fisheries and Aquaculture Development in the Kyrgyz Republic


- conduct an aquaculture value chain study;

- conduct a study on the interactions between aquaculture and the environment including the impacts of climate change on aquaculture.
