Charis Linda Braun has been active since 2012 at the unit of Policy and Markets in the Agro-Food Sector at the University of Sustainable Development Eberswalde (HNEE) on several research projects related to agricultural diversification and local agri-food value chains.

Current research project: EIP-Agri "Regionales Bio-Gemüse aus Brandenburg"

She studied ‘Food Economics and Nutritional Sciences’ (BSc) at the University of Giessen and also holds a master’s degree in ‘Agricultural Management’ from HNEE in cooperation with the Humboldt University of Berlin.

Charis Linda Braun has been an external PhD student at the Chair of Economics of Horticulture and Landscaping at the Technical University Munich since 2017. Her PhD research centers around cooperation within local organic vegetable supply chains.
