Goals

A brief summary of our goals:

- Linking research and practice

- Innovation in horse work

- Public relations work for workhorses and the work with horses

- Research on working with draught animals

- Introduction into teaching and training

Plans are also underway to expand the range of workhorse-related courses on offer, to set up a project workshop and to organise APRI courses.

In our meetings we discuss sustainability a lot and we as a group want to work out proposals within the university group how sustainability can look like in practice. The main focus will be on topics such as linking research and practice, innovation in equine work, public relations work for workhorses, research on working with draught animals, integrating sustainability into teaching and training.

Our work consists of cooperation with researchers and practitioners of horse work, the collection of topics for research and final theses, the establishment of a library on the subject, participation in events and support for professors* in teaching about horse work as well as excursions, lecture evenings and discussion rounds.
