Family-Friendly Campus

There are facilities at the City Campus and at the Forest Campus Which try to make the everyday student life as a parent more comfortable. They Should be easy to find with the help of site plan.



Parent-Child Working Place at the University Library

The separated computer workstation offers parents the opportunity to work with Their child, without Affecting the silent atmosphere of the library. There is a little kids desk and many books, audiobooks, drawing utensils and blankets. The working place is located in the library at the City Campus, 1st floor at the end of the aisle, leftside. The key is available from the library staff.


Parent-Child Rooms

The parent-child rooms are cozy rooms offer the opportunity to have a rest Which, for winding and breastfeeding, the preparation of meals or expressing milk. So There Are The Possibility to work here. The rooms are located in house 5, room 012 (City Campus) and house 12, room 006 (Forest Campus).

Both rooms have a crib, a changing table and a heater, a kettle, baby food warmers, toys, books and a bed for stressed parents or pregnant women in need of rest.

In addition, Both parent-child rooms are each equipped with a computer workstation. At the Forest Campus (House 12) the parent-child room includes a small kitchen area.

Family-friendly Cafe

The cafeteria on the City Campus has a kids play area. In Both cafeterias there are several highchairs and the staff will heat Brought baby food on request. The introduction of a children's plate is Currently Being Discussed With The Studentenwerk Frankfurt Oder.

There are foldable changing tables in some women's and men toilets in Both Campuses

These are located at the City Campus in

  • House 2, ground floor, right next to the cafeteria (women's and men's toilet)
  • House 4, UG, Powder Room
  • House 7, EC, disabled toilets

and at the Forest Campus in

  • House 11, EC (women's and men's toilet)
  • House 14, 1st floor (entrance of the machinery hall for the wood technicians opposite the cafeteria)
  • House 15, EC, at the entrance of the disabled toilet
