Local Committee Eberswalde

What is a Local Committee?

The Local Committee (LC) is the lowest organisational unit of IFSA. Each university related to forestry can be represented by an LC at IFSA.

What happens at the LC Eberswalde?

Our goal is to network and exchange knowledge with other national and international students in the forestry and environmental sector. Due to this goal we are always represented at events organised by the Faculty of Forest and Environment and make an important contribution to the student culture in Eberswalde with our activities such as the organisation and attendance of workshops, lectures, seminars and common barbecue evenings.

Furthermore, we participate as delegates of IFSA in international conferences and meetings like the International Day of Forests at the FAO Headquarters, the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) or the Confernce of the Parties (COP14) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and meet other international students annually at the Northern European Regional Meeting (NERM).

We meet every two weeks or as needed for sessions to discuss current LC affairs, to which we also invite by email.

You want to join us?

We are always looking for new members who want to get in contact with other students and global players and support us in our activities.

Just contact our members or send an email to: ifsa@hnee.de
