Keeping track and handing in signatures

Subtasks

• Represent the committee and the student body to the outside world
• Have an overview of the tasks and projects and support their fulfillment.
• Ensure that the activities of the AStA do not contradict the requirements of the student body constitution or the rules of procedure.
• Moderate meetings, generally has a balancing effect, tries to give equal weight to all positions and, in the event of disagreements within the AStA, leads them to a compromise.
• Collect agenda items for meetings and issue university public invitations.

Against discrimination and racism

Subtasks

• To be a contact point for students and to promote RADAR  
• Keep contact with the initiatives and Nadine Herold (Equal Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination Officer)  
• Organize seminars and workshops  
• Observation and assessment of the political situation at HNEE

FSW contact & rental of the rental bikes

Subtasks

• Participate in the plenum of the FSW
• Keep contact with the FSW
• Lend rental bikes
• Manage mails

Responsibility manage the finances of the student body and control the lawful use of the money

Subtasks

• Edit invoices
• Mail management
• Process expense reimbursements
• Perform semester closings

University policy and networking internally and externally

Subtasks

• Networking of the student representatives in the different committees of the HNEE (FSR, FBR, Senate, Commissions, Examination Board, ...)
  
• Critical observation of university events
• Demanding participation opportunities for students in university life
• Use existing participation opportunities to bring in student perspectives/concerns etc. (e.g. round table on sustainable HNEE development, university strategy process).
  
• Generally represent and, at best, enforce student interests in university affairs.
• Advocating for a democratic and respectful cooperation at HNEE, in Eberswalde and beyond.
• If necessary, representing student interests in local political contexts
• Active participation in the Brandenburg Student Council
• Representation of the interests of HNEE students in higher education policy at the state and national level.
  

Communication with the university sports club

Subtasks

• Arrange for payment of the grant amount to the university-sport-club.

Rental and management of the dog kennels and exercise area at the Forest Campus.

Subtasks

• Conclude new contracts with the students
  
• Keep track of incoming payments for the kennels and remind the tenants
• Have tenants' contracts renewed or cancelled in a timely manner
• Regularly check the order and cleanliness of the kennels, the tenants are responsible for this themselves.
• Repair damaged kennels, in case of tenant's fault the deposit will be retained
  

The International Office has been newly founded and is in the process of being established. We want to tailor our services better to international studies, get them more on board and promote exchange.

Planning and coordination of events and other cultural events

Subtasks

• Organization of the Ersi party
  
• Selection/contracts/coordination of culture/art/music for the events
  
• Organization of Campusfest
  
• Maintain mail account
  

Providing students, the AStA& HNEE-internal offices with the information relevant to them in a comprehensible manner and at the right time, as well as managing and distributing the incoming information and informing the public.

Advocating for the social needs of students

Subtasks

• Repayment/refund of semester ticket in cooperation with the Student Affairs Department.
  
• Newborn Welcome. Requests come from students during the year (P.O. Box Office) and need to be collected and attended to accordingly.
• SoliTicketFonds for subsidies for the semester ticket fee for students, application deadlines SoSe always by 15.04.WiSe by 15.10 of each year. After that, applications must be reviewed and approved or denied within 14 days. This is a very important task that has priority in every case.
• Contact persons for the concerns of students in emergency situations
  

Rental and management of AStA technology to students and the university

Subtasks

• Renting technology
  
• Issue and return of rented technology in consultation with the tenant
• Issuing the rental contracts
• Collection of technology rental and deposit as well as return of the deposit after return and control
• regular revision of the rental contracts
• repair of the technique
• Organization of set-up and dismantling of the technology at AStA events
• regular check of the items for function
• annual inventory of the technology cellar
• purchase of new technology
• E-mail accounts must be checked regularly. The unit holders must agree on this
  

The office assistant, Kerstin, is employed by the AStA and supports the AStA in various areas.

Thus, the office assistance is not a unit in which an AStA member can work.

Kerstin takes on the following tasks, among others:

• Contact person and supporter for all AStA members
• AStA members and the FSRe
• Keeps the overview and has a lot of experience
  
• Office assistance
