Conveners: Münchhausen, S. and Häring, A.M., HNEE, in cooperation with Rocha, B. and Orthen, N., German Networking Agency at the Federal Office for Agriculture and Foodon the 9th of March 2017 in Weihenstephan-Freising

The agricultural European Innovation Partnership (EIP-AGRI) aims to foster competitive and sustainable farming and forestry that 'achieve more and better from less'. Different types of funding sources can help to start an agricultural innovation project such as the European Rural Development policy with the Operational Groups (OG), or the EU's research and innovation programme Horizon 2020 with its Multi-Actor-Projects (MAP).

The objective of this workshop was to discuss first experiences of OG with an organic farming orientation. A fish-bowl discussion fostered the exchange of experiences. Participants from organic farming research and practitioners from OG with organic farming projects discussed the hampering and enabling conditions for OG and MAP.

The workshop was held in German. Documents for download are available on the German site.
