Queer Weeks 2025 in Eberswalde - University takes a stand
This year's Queer Weeks in Eberswalde were officially opened on 6 June 2025. Until 21 June, a varied programme invites you to exchange ideas, share experiences and enjoy a wide range of cultural events. The focus is on queer perspectives - in art, culture and everyday life. The city of Eberswalde, the HNEE and especially the CSD team are setting an example with numerous different events.

Markus Koenecke, Chancellor of Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE), emphasised at the opening: "It shouldn't take courage to be queer and show yourself as you are and how you want to live."
The Queer Weeks make visible what has long been a reality: queer life is an integral part of our society - and of university life. HNEE actively participates in the Queer Weeks with a wide range of collaborations and contributions.
Diversity is celebrated with exhibitions, readings, information events, discussions, parties and a Pride demonstration - openly, in solidarity and with space for meaningful connection.
