Frank Momberg and Yanuar Ishaq Dwi Cahyo, from Fauna and Flora International Asia Office, and Dwi Suratman, from the Indonesian NGO Yayasan Kasuari, met with a team from the Biosphere Reserves Institute and HNEE. The goal was to discuss potential collaboration on biosphere reserve research, training, and education, building on previous discussions. The meeting took place on the 31.3.26 at the BRI.

Participants explored concrete funding opportunities to support exchanges of students within the Biosphere Reserves Management master’s programme, as well as staff and researchers. The collaboration aims to strengthen capacity at Indonesian universities and biosphere reserves, while also creating further opportunities for HNEE students and researchers in biosphere reserve management.
