Location: Online without registration
Event language:  English
With a new event series, HNEE highlights international research and collaboration. Visiting researchers present their current projects and share their experiences at HNEE. The series offers exciting insights into international perspectives on sustainability topics and invites exchange within the university community.

Since November 2025, Dr. Franciele Alba, guest researcher at Rottenburg University of Applied Sciences, (ResearchGate Profile: https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Franciele-Silva-4?ev=hdr_xprf) has been conducting research at HNEE, where she will remain until the end of April 2026. Dr. Alba was invited by Prof. Spathelf and has been working on joint research topics during her stay.

In the upcoming session, Dr. Alba will present her current research project entitled “Models and Simulations of Sustainable Forest Management Strategies in Mixed Ombrophilous Forest and Their Impacts on Biodiversity Conservation and Climate Change.” During the seminar, she will also share insights and experiences gained throughout her research stay at HNEE.

Join us for an engaging discussion on international perspectives in sustainability research and the opportunity to exchange ideas with a visiting researcher!
