The Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE) is a public corporation and an institution of the State of Brandenburg, which means it is committed to academic self-governance. This ensures transparent and democratic decision-making with the participation of the university members.
A central component of self-administration is committee work. The various committees make it possible to incorporate different perspectives and discuss complex issues in depth.
In addition, numerous representatives take on special tasks. They ensure that important cross-cutting issues are continuously taken into account, thereby making an important contribution to the responsible further development of the university.
