Research & Innovation
Research is one of our core tasks at the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development. Together with partners from science, business and civil society, we initiate numerous innovative research projects.

- Development of engineering and technologies, e.g. for agriculture and life-cycle management
- Cooperation and joint research in the agricultural and food sector
- Contract research - e.g. by the Central Ecological Laboratory and the Wilmersdorf Teaching and Research Station
- Long-term studies - e.g. in the Ackerbau(m) project in Löwenberger Land
- Ecosystem-based environmental monitoring - e.g. of the Brandenburg biosphere reserves

Counteract your shortage of skilled labour in good time and get in touch with our students. In the dual study programme, students acquire a Bachelor's degree as well as an apprenticeship qualification. Students are already looking for opportunities to apply their knowledge in practice during their studies. All of our degree programmes offer either a compulsory practical semester or larger practical projects for which we regularly look for areas of work and partners.

The CSD Eberswalde initiative won the Eberswalde University Society's Audience Award in 2024.
Every year, the Eberswalde University Society honours outstanding theses with the Gunther Wolff Prize.
Am 27. März 2025 erhielten 41 Studierende der Hochschule für nachhaltige Entwicklung Eberswalde (HNEE) das Deutschlandstipendium.
There is great joy about the HNEE Deutschlandstipendium (Scholarship).
The WaldWelten Foundation is also active in the Forest Botanical Garden.
