Die Förderung einer Willkommenskultur an der Hochschule hat für uns ebenfalls hohe Priorität, um Mitarbeitende und Gäste aus aller Welt herzlich willkommen zu heißen und eine offene, unterstützende Atmosphäre zu schaffen, die das Ankommen und die Integration an der Hochschule erleichtert. 

Under the guiding principle of "international and networked", the Centre for International Affairs (CIA) sees itself as a central point of contact for further promoting the international networking of HNEE as a cross-cutting task in research, teaching and administration. We support the integration of global perspectives in all areas of the university in order to give the university community an international orientation, thereby enriching the everyday study and work life of all members. One focus of our work is on integrating international dimensions into the schools as well as into teaching and studies, and on maintaining and supporting the development of international cooperation in teaching and research, which is intended to strengthen scientific exchange and enable innovation. In doing so, the ZIA works together with central and decentralised institutions and many different actors at HNEE, such as InnoSupport: Research | Start-ups | Transfer, the Language Center, the Student Service Centre and the Career Service Department, in order to create synergies and support the university's strategic goals. 

Promoting a welcoming culture at the university is also a high priority for us, so that we can warmly welcome employees and guests from all over the world and create an open, supportive atmosphere that makes it easier for them to settle in and integrate at the university.
