If you're still deciding on a course or whether HNEE is the right fit for you, the → General Student Advisory Service is your first point of contact. Internship opportunities can also be found via our → Job Portal. It may also be helpful to speak with students in higher semesters or the student council – they often have useful insights into reputable organisations. To ensure your internship is officially recognised, be sure to stay in close contact with the internship coordinator. For questions about funding or scholarships for internships abroad, the → Exchange Office is your first point of contact. The Career Service provides support with your application documents.

We offer advice online via BigBlueButton, by phone, by email and in person at the office and as a walk in the forest behind the Waldcampus. Please feel free to write us an mail with your request.
You will be asked to send us your application documents so that we can provide you with detailed and personalised advice. These will be deleted (digital), destroyed (paper) or handed over to you after the counselling session. To register for counselling, we record your name, your degree programme, your email address and your request for counselling. All other information is voluntary and will be stored and processed by the Career Service in accordance with the statutory provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act for evaluation purposes. The personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

Develop professional skills, strengthen your soft skills, and gain greater self-awareness: our workshops, lectures and networking events are designed to prepare you specifically for the demands of today’s working world — with a focus on sustainable and responsible career paths. This programme is free for students, staff and alumni.

Our workshops and lectures are free of charge for all students and graduates of HNE Eberswalde!
Registration:
Registrations are binding.
Cancellation:
If you are officially registered for a seminar, you may cancel your registration no later than one week before the event. This allows us to reallocate your place to someone else. You are also welcome to nominate a substitute participant.
If you do not attend without prior cancellation, you may be excluded from participating in seminars for the next two semesters.
In cases of illness, please provide a medical certificate as proof.
Waiting list:
If a seminar is fully booked, your name will be placed on a waiting list. You will move up the list as soon as another participant cancels.
Places are allocated based on the order of registration, and a telephone number is required so we can contact you quickly if a spot becomes available.
Data protection:
Participants must provide their surname, first name, email address and telephone number when registering for the seminars. As part of the communication, it is possible that other participants will be given their surname, first name and e-mail address.
Further information is voluntary and will be stored and processed by the Career Service of the HNE Eberswalde for evaluation purposes within the framework of the statutory provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act. After the end of the calendar year or evaluation of the seminar utilisation, unnecessary data will be deleted and the name anonymised. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties.
