For two decades, the Forest Information Technology (FIT) Master's degree programme has combined sustainable forest management with modern information technologies. At HNEE and SGGW/WULS, digital methods are taught that enable precise recording, well-founded analyses and a deeper understanding of forest ecosystems.
As an English-language, international degree programme, FIT combines innovative digital approaches for multidimensional research and investigation of forests, supported by innovative sensor technologies. FIT is taught at two renowned universities - the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE) and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW/WULS). This long-standing, successful cooperation combines the expertise of both institutions and enables in-depth, practical training at two locations, which has been bringing together students from all over the world for 20 years. The degree programme enables its graduates to use pioneering tools and strategies to empirically research and actively shape the future of our forests.
Celebrate 20 years of excellent teaching, practical research and international collaboration with us!
