Senate of the HNEE

The Senate is the highest self-governing body of HNEE. It elects the President and is composed of elected representatives of professors, students and staff. The President is a member of the Senate and serves as its chair, but does not hold voting rights. The Senate addresses strategic matters and the ongoing development of the university. Its responsibilities include the adoption of fundamental regulations and central statutes, as well as decisions on appointment proposals for professorships.

Meeting dates and documents

Senate meetings are generally held on the fourth Wednesday of each month. University members can access all key information, including meeting dates and minutes, via the internal portal.
