Health and health promotion working group
Healthy and strong: Holistic health promotion
The Health and Health Promotion Working Group at HNEE, known as the Healthy University Working Group for short, is strategically committed to a health-promoting university environment. As a cross-sectional task, it creates links to topics such as personnel and organisational development, the family-friendly university as well as occupational safety, health at work and occupational integration management. In the spirit of the World Health Organisation (WHO), it pursues a holistic approach that includes all university members and focuses on health resources as well as dealing with health risks. The aim is to strengthen self-empowerment so that all members of HNEE can actively keep an eye on their health and positively influence health factors. With its systemic perspective, the working group views HNEE as a living, working and learning environment in order to promote both organisational and personal resources, create healthy framework conditions and support health-promoting behaviour. It also acts as a strategic driver and provider of ideas for innovative pilot projects.
Our aim in the Healthy University Working Group is to create a working and study environment that promotes well-being and health in the long term - for a strong sense of community at HNEE.
