Get Involved: Festival der Taten Seeks Creative Contributors
From 12–14 March 2026, the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE) invites changemakers, visionaries, and active citizens to take part in the Festival der Taten — a hands-on event focused on shaping a sustainable future. Held under the theme “Doing Things Together – Where Encounters Create Impact”, the festival welcomes students, grassroots initiatives, organisations, and engaged individuals from Eberswalde, the wider region, and beyond to contribute their ideas and energy.

HNEE is looking for creative thinkers with ideas for workshops, actions, or interactive formats who want to actively co-create the festival.
“The festival is an open invitation to get involved — with creativity, commitment, and community spirit,” says Isabel Mühlmann, the festival’s coordinator. “In a time of global challenges, it's about making change tangible and fostering hope and confidence through shared action.”
Kick-off Meeting: 23 September 2025
The co-creation process begins with a kick-off meeting on 23 September 2025. This gathering will bring together all contributors to exchange ideas, build connections, and collaboratively shape the festival programme. “We want to highlight diverse perspectives and create a space where people can share their ideas and inspirations,” says Mühlmann.
Applications to contribute are now open. The deadline for submissions is 20 September 2025.
