AnpaG - Group Counseling for Sustainable Agriculture
AnpaG – which stands for “Anpacken” (getting things done); driving the transformation of agriculture toward sustainability.
At AnpaG, we contribute to this by testing peer group counseling as a methodological approach to agricultural consulting. Through events such as field days and consultant days, we help connect Brandenburg farmers, consultants, and research staff. In addition, we are developing an → informational website about agricultural advisory services in Brandenburg, which helps increase the visibility of advisors and their expertise.
NutriNet - A network of expertise and applied research dedicated to advancing nutrient management in organic farming
Everyone is pulling together here: In the nationwide project “Competence and Applied Research Network for the Further Development of Nutrient Management in Organic Farming” (NutriNet), practitioners, consultants, and scientists are working together to address the question of how nutrient management in organic farming can be improved. The NutriNet website compiles information on nutrient management in general and results from field trials across the entire network.
With the help of a nationwide competence and applied research network, the NutriNet project aims to identify successful nutrient management strategies, further develop and test them in practice, and derive concrete recommendations for action for commercial farms. To this end, practical research trials are being conducted on a total of 60 organic farms, which are grouped into six regional networks across the country. The regional networks also aim to further develop methods of practical research. Within the project, farm data relevant to nutrient management is collected and evaluated. Another focus of the practical research project is to test new experimental formats. To this end, so-called network trials are conducted with the participating farms. All project activities are accompanied by a continuous transfer of knowledge aimed at the timely implementation of existing knowledge in practice, advisory services, and vocational training.

Behind the Region 4.0 alliance stands a diverse group of partners from the fields of research and business. Since 2018, they have been engaging in intensive dialogue with regional stakeholders, citizens, and individual initiatives to advance the development of a culture of innovation in the region.
About 50 stakeholders have already been involved locally. The network is open and is intended to grow continuously. After all, sustainable innovations cannot be mandated; rather, they emerge precisely where needs are matched with new opportunities.
