Transdisziplinäre Forschung an Hochschulen für Angewandte Wissenschaften
The research project “Transdisciplinary Research at Universities of Applied Sciences” (TDR4HAW) fills a gap in the field of science and higher education research by systematically examining how transdisciplinary research (TDR) is embedded at universities of applied sciences (UAS) and how it can be further developed. It strengthens the profile of UAS as key players in the German science system, contributes to the quality development of transdisciplinary research, and develops practical concepts for the long-term integration of TDR as an integral part of UAS. The project thus provides scientific insights and concrete strategies for improving collaboration between academia and practice.
