The agriculture and forestry sectors face major challenges. As a result, farms—together with, for example, companies in the value chains—need to develop, test, and scale up innovative solutions. The concept of “cooperation for innovation” is seen as a promising approach in this context, one in which participants work together as equals to develop the necessary adjustments. The collaboration within such an innovation partnership begins with the conception of an innovation project.
