WeNetBB: Bewirtschaftung und Biomasseverwertung von nassen Niedermooren: Netz von Modell- und Demonstrationsvorhaben in Moorregionen Brandenburgs
The project “Management and Biomass Utilization of Wet Lowland Bogs: Network of Model and Demonstration Projects in Brandenburg’s Bog Regions” (WetNetBB) will work with agricultural businesses in typical lowland bog locations to establish water levels that preserve peat and implement exemplary methods for land management and biomass utilization. As a result, WetNetBB aims to demonstrate the unique synergy potential of bogs for climate, soil, water, and biodiversity protection, as well as for regional value creation, thereby fostering acceptance and interest in sustainable bog management in the selected regions and beyond.
