Gino Garcia defended his doctoral thesis “Designing a sustainability assessment approach for the provision of forest ecosystem services” at the Leuphana University Lüneburg. In his dissertation, Gino Garcia analysed the potential for integrating the ecosystem services concept into sustainability assessment approaches to foster sustainable forest management.

His research was supervised by Prof. Dr. Carsten Mann (HNEE) and Prof. Dr. Henrik von Wehrden (Leuphana University), in scope of the BRI PhD Programme. Congratulations!!
