The Move for female Transformation (MoFeT) project aims to sustainably improve career and advancement opportunities for women in the tourism industry. Building on two key areas—raising awareness and developing know-how — MoFeT seeks to empower employees and organisations through workshops and coaching programmes in different gender constellations to increase the proportion of women at all levels of the organisational hierarchy and raise awareness of gender equality.

The free workshops offered as part of the “Move for Female Transformation” project focus on raising awareness of power structures and perceptions of gender roles, while encouraging participants to reflect on their own goals and strengths.
During the panel discussion, Songül Göktas-Rosati, Anne Rösener, Prof. Dr Claudia Brözel, Franziska Albers and Kirsten Feld-Türkis discussed successful strategies, as well as the barriers they encountered throughout their career development.
Over the years, I have come to recognise the need for lasting improvements in career prospects for women in the tourism industry, and I am firmly convinced that our work will make a significant contribution to advancing gender equality.
