Unverpackt 2.0 – Standards for Professionalisation

The Unverpackt 2.0 project – Standards for the Professionalisation of Reduced-Packaging, Efficient and Sustainable Goods Supply in Unpackaged Retail Value Chains – aims to develop jointly agreed standards to professionalise and improve procurement for unpackaged shops. The aim of the project is to develop standards for the sustainable and efficient supply of goods to unpackaged shops, thereby transforming the diverse range of isolated solutions into viable system solutions – for example, in the areas of transport and reusable systems, cleaning routines and inventory management systems. In this way, a shared understanding of unpackaged retail will be developed and clearly defined for all those involved in the value chain.
