EU-Farmbook: interactive knowledge reservoir
The future of innovation in agriculture and forestry will depend, among other things, on improved (digital) sharing of new methods and practical solutions. EU-FarmBook is being developed as an EU-wide, freely accessible knowledge platform for practitioners and advisors. Education and training, applied science, administration, and policy are also expected to benefit. HNEE is responsible for developing guidelines for other project groups and initiatives so that they can create engaging fact sheets, brochures, videos, or learning modules based on their results. These materials will be uploaded to the EU-FarmBook platform, where they will be searchable and available for download in various EU languages.
FLIARA: Female-Led Innovation in Agriculture and Rural Areas
All stakeholders in agriculture and rural areas are needed to address the diverse societal challenges we face. The goal of the project is to develop and test an innovative approach that ensures awareness and societal recognition, and clearly demonstrates that women make a significant contribution to innovation. Furthermore, FLIARA aims to demonstrate how women’s innovation potential can be further strengthened in the future. The HNEE FLIARA working group will collaborate with case study partners to develop visions for sustainable agriculture and rural development and engage in critical discussions with policymakers, practitioners, and associations. The project results will be developed as practical recommendations for and in collaboration with practitioners, consultants, associations, and political representatives.
