Computed tomography laboratory for data-based material modelling and materials research for sustainable wood resource management and efficient wood utilisation
The aim of the CT laboratory is to generate and analyse data on the growth and structure of wood, from raw logs to processed or reusable beams or wood-based materials, and to develop models. This data will be used to draw conclusions and create predictive models for forestry, wood technology and timber construction, enabling the resource-efficient use of forest raw materials and the development of new types of wood and applications.
