To strengthen organic farming in Brandenburg in the face of climatic and economic changes and enhance its competitiveness, approaches tailored to individual farms and local conditions are needed. Regional practice networks bringing together land users with stakeholders from research and advisory services can help develop strategies for solutions and drive their implementation forward.
Objectives
- Establish a regional practice network to support agricultural holdings in integrating biodiversity measures into their arable farming operations.
- Establish two regional networks in the state of Brandenburg: one in the Uckermark/Barnim region and one in a further region.
